This story begins with a candidacy for the U.S. Congress, the story of Reshma Saujani. During her campaign, she meets people, shakes hands, visits businesses, and especially schools specialized in STEM disciplines. However, she notices that there are only male students. And the girls? Yes, where are they? Noticing this absence, she decides to create the Girls Who Code movement, to encourage girls worldwide to be fearless, to be courageous and not perfect, to conquer fields that were once off-limits, and to venture into computer science, the digital world, engineering, and architecture. These girls have had to pay the price of prejudices but also show us great resilience and self-irony. Because, as Reshma reminds us, 'When we teach girls to be courageous, they are capable of building incredible things'.
